Christmas trees

Only CarbonSync™ Christmas trees produce carbon offsets.

Wonderful for you and the environment

We invite you to buy a CarbonSync™ Christmas tree and improve the environment. Your tree will look fantastic, while capturing carbon and other pollutants from the air, which can then be returned to the environment in a useful and sustainable format. It’s a winning solution all around!

We offer the most environmentally friendly trees for 2011. We can even prove it using scientifically accurate carbon accounting and BioChar.

The trees look wonderful. They are grown in the Fraser Valley, farmed by local farmers. Each tree removes carbon dioxide — a greenhouse gas which scientists call CO2 — from Earth’s atmosphere. Enjoy an environmentally friendly Christmas with your full-size premium Christmas tree.

Top 5 reasons to order a CarbonSync™ Christmas tree

  1. CarbonSync™ trees are good for the environment. We take cut and live trees back after the holidays. Cut trees are processed into BioChar – capturing carbon and storing it for hundreds to thousands of years. Live trees are planted for future growth.
  2. Our trees are locally farmed and hand picked for the highest quality.
  3. You get a truly green product for the same price as a regular tree!
  4. Easy-to-order online website makes shopping simple. We also deliver and pick up trees. The festive season is a busy time. Reduce your stress and avoid the mess!
  5. Even David Suzuki likes CarbonSync™:

Speaking of trees, I’m often asked whether it’s better to use real or artificial Christmas trees. A life-cycle assessment study conducted by sustainability research firm Ellipsos inc. found that real trees are better for the environment overall than fake trees. In Vancouver, the CarbonSync™ organization will even rent you a potted tree that they will deliver and pick up after Christmas and plant, with some of the proceeds going to the Burns Bog Conservation Society. -David Suzuki

Pick up and delivery information

Once you pay online to order your tree, we will contact you via email to arrange delivery and pick up dates. Our pick up and delivery schedule continues from November 15, 2011 to January 15, 2012.

It’s best to arrange a time when you are home, so we can place the tree for you. Please leave your tree outside for easy pick up. Live trees should go outside in the rain as soon as possible after Christmas.

Tree Care Information

  1. Protect your floor! Please provide a mat or towel for extra protection.
  2. Trees can tip over, causing damage. Be careful with children and pets around trees. Make sure you have a tree stand that can hold your tree. If you have any concerns, consider putting a wire on the top of the tree to anchor it up high, ensuring it won’t tip over.
  3. Full size cut trees need a Christmas tree stand. Make sure you have a tree stand that can hold your tree.
  4. Pruning of cut trees is okay. Avoid pruning live trees.
  5. Water frequently. Keep your tree moist. Always make sure there is water in your tree stand reservoir, or the saucer of your live potted tree.
  6. Control your home temperature. Keep your tree cool. Place your tree away from heat sources. Place your tree in front of a window. Cover or close any nearby heat vents.
  7. Use small LED lights to save energy and enhance safety.
  8. Please remove all decorations before returning your tree.
